The safety of students and staff in the Central Massachusetts Collaborative is of the utmost importance and will remain a top priority during the school year.
The purpose of the EMERGENCY OPERATION PLAN is to provide school staff with a useful framework for responding to a crisis or school safety event that may occur throughout the school year.
When a crisis or school safety event occurs, it is essential that all staff act in an efficient and timely manner that supports the highest degree of safety for all students and school personnel and reduces the impact of the event. When necessary, school personnel call upon the appropriate public safety and emergency officials for additional support.
The Central MA Collaborative has the following mandatory school safety drills each year at all locations (14 New Bond Street & 121 Higgins Street)
- 4 Fire Drills in conjunction with the Worcester Fire Department
- 1 Evacuation Drill
- 1 Lockdown Drill
- 1 Shelter-in-Place Drill
